Article number: | AIR-SUSP-ADD-REN-BASIC |
1 set of additional air springs for the rear axle to reinforce the standard suspension springs. The auxiliary air springs are built into the chassis springs.
The air suspension consists of 2 poly bellows:
The mad poly bellows prevents the suspension springs from bottoming out and improves handling and stability. The poly bellows are built into the open chassis spring as an additional air spring. Whether the vehicle is unloaded or heavily loaded, pulls a trailer or has to be transported with roof loads, the chassis can be individually adjusted either with a tire inflator at the gas station or conveniently with the built-in compressor (option) by simply changing the air pressure be adapted to the respective situation. The poly bellows are made of tough, durable polyurethane.
Whether hard or soft suspension, high or low vehicle height, the vehicle can be adapted to the needs of the driver by changing the air pressure as desired. The air suspension brings or holds the rear of the vehicle at the standard height, regardless of the load condition. Either with the tire inflator when stopping at the petrol station or with the built-in compressor (option).
Benefits:
The set is supplied with a parts certificate from RWTÜV Essen.
Correct installation might have to be confirmed by an approved testing organization (depending on the country).
Available in the following options:
1. Basic without compressor: Consists of additional assembly material (air hose, T-pieces, etc.) and a panel with 2 filling valves for filling with a tire inflator.
2.) Single-circuit compressor kit: Consists of additional assembly material (air hose, T-pieces, etc.), 45l compressor and a single-cab control panel, with which the air springs can be conveniently operated from the driver's cab. Both bellows can be filled together up to the maximum pressure and emptied again down to the minimum pressure.
3. Compressor kit dual-circuit system: Consists of additional assembly material (air hose, T-pieces, etc.), 45l compressor and a double cockpit control unit, with which the air springs can be conveniently operated from the cab. Both bellows can be filled independently of each other up to the maximum pressure and also emptied again up to the minimum pressure. This has the advantage that different loads can be compensated and that the vehicle always remains stable when cornering.
