MAD Rear Air suspension for Renault Trafic III, 05.2014 onwards (same as OPEL VIVARO/ NISSAN PRIMASTAR)

1 set of full air suspension for the rear axle, these replace the original suspension springs.

Whether hard or soft suspension, high or low vehicle height, the vehicle can be adapted to the needs of the driver by changing the air pressure as desired. The air suspension brings or holds the rear of the vehicle at the standard height, regardless of the load condition. Either with the tire inflator when stopping at the petrol station or with the built-in compressor (option).

Benefits:

  • Better suspension behavior due to more suspension travel.
  • Less sensitivity to crosswinds.
  • Improved road stability.
  • Maximum gain in height at maximum load.
  • Shortened braking distance through optimized braking pressure.
  • Less tire wear.
  • Production and development according to the requirements of ISO 9001 and TÜV.

The set is supplied with a parts certificate from RWTÜV Essen.

Correct installation might have to be confirmed by an approved testing organization (depending on the country).

The air suspension consists of 2 full air springs:

The full air springs replace the chassis springs and offer a particularly comfortable suspension for e.g. rescue vehicles and the transport of disabled people, since the vehicle can be lowered.

Available in the following options:

1. SmartAir (automatic level control): Consists of additional assembly material (air hose, T-pieces, etc.), 70l high-performance compressor and a height sensor. With this system, your vehicle is automatically kept at the optimum vehicle height, regardless of whether it is loaded or unloaded. A switch is supplied with the air suspension, with which the air bellows can be completely emptied.
