Sikaflex-522 is a low emission, one-component, STP sealant and adhesive. The product has good weathering resistance and mould resistance. Sikaflex-522 meets the highest EHS requirements. Sikaflex-522 shows good adhesion to a variety of substrates with little pre-treatment.
Sikaflex-522 has good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates and is suitable for elastic sealing and bonding applications in interior and exterior areas. This product is suitable for applications in air-conditioning and ventilation systems, as well as for food processing plants. Suitable substrates include wood, glass, metals, metal primers and paints (two-component systems), ceramic materials and plastics. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations before using Sikaflex-522 on materials prone to stress cracking. Pre-trials must be carried out with the actual materials to be used, in order to avoid stress cracking. This product is only suitable for experienced users. To ensure adhesion and material compatibility, pre-trials must be carried out with the actual materials and under the actual conditions.
